Hand Orthotic Fabrication Seminars for OTs, PTs, COTAs, PTAs
We provide 5 hours of lab time with no more than two therapists per splinting pan in all of our groups. There are also numerous opportunities for one-on-one time with the instructor. Helpful hints, inexpensive alternatives, and efficient orthosis fabrication (splinting)/strapping techniques are provided. Workshops are offered in one and two-day options.
This lecture/lab workshop is for the beginner-intermediate level orthosis fabricator (splinter) who would like to improve their static/immobilization orthosis fabrication (splinting) skills.
This workshop is for the beginner-intermediate level orthosis fabricator who would like to learn how to fabricate and use static-progressive and dynamic/ mobilization orthoses (splints).
This workshop is for the intermediate-advanced orthosis fabricator (splinter) who is already fabricating dynamic/mobilization orthoses (splints).
Participants will experience a variety of thermoplastics of different thickness and characteristics. They will learn to design patterns and fabricate hand and forearm based orthoses.
