Susan Baum Locker, MSEd, OTR/L

susan_locker Susan has been teaching splinting workshops since 1991. She has been an occupational therapist since 1977 and has specialized in hand therapy since 1983. She has been an instructor at USC, has co-authored articles in the field of physical disabilities, and has lectured at ASHT, AOTA and OTAC. She is presently a clinician, a splinting consultant and an educator for the therapy community.

Susan produces customized facility workshops, as well as one-on-one tutorials. In addition, she provides small group workshops for the therapy community in her own private location.

Katherine Klarer, OTR/L, CHT, CKTP

Katherine has been active for nearly 30 years in diverse areas of practice including hospital-based, skilled nursing, and private oupatient facilities. In addition to being a Certfied Hand Therapist, she holds certifications in Graston Technique and Kinesiotaping. Katie is currently Director of Hand Therapy at Workpartners Occupational Health Specialists in San Diego County.  She has been a co-lecturer with UE Seminars since 2015. 

Katie is passionate about teaching her students to find the best orthotic design to promote pain free independent function.
